OBSERVATIONAL TOOL FOR ASSESSMENT OF MORAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES IN PRIMARY

The present observational tool has been used in the observation of a physical activity program that aims to improve the moral growth of students at primary level. The sample was collected in a center of the province of Malaga, is formed by students in levels 3 through 5th grade. The observational design used is Monitoring / Nomothetic / Multidimensional (S / N / M), in quadrant IV. This paper presents the process of elaboration and optimization tool "ad hoc" which consists of a mixed format field and category system. This paper addresses two problems: the use of the Observational Method (OM) and the use of Generalizability Theory (GT) in the assessment of moral development in physical education classes.
