The aim of this research was to generate psychometrics evidences of the Social Physique Anxiety Scale in Brazil. A sample of 700 participants was equally divided into a male and a female sample. For the female sample, the model with satisfactory adjust was a 10 items unidimensional model (RMSEA = .065, GFI = .99, AGFI = .99, NFI = .99, CFI = 1, NNFI = 1) and for the male sample, the model with satisfactory fit was a 9 items unidimensional model (RMSEA = .076, GFI = .99, AGFI = .98, NFI = .98, CFI = .99, NNFI = .99). Evidences of reliability, convergent, discriminant and concurrent validity were generated for both models.
