The aim of the study was to analyse how a programmed training plan to focus on training different conditional capacities, in collective modality and carried out by a trainer, influences on the perception of physical self-concept in adult runners. A training program (3 days week, 4 months) was applied to 18 subjects of adult age (37-42 years). Data collection was collected using a Pretest and a post test (pre y post) (Cuestionario de Autoconcepto Físico-CAF). The data were analyzed through an analysis of the average scores and variances on the different scales of the questionnaire. The results show a strong relationship between physical self-concept and the practice of physical exercise, obtaining significant changes between the average scores obtained in all the dimensions, except in Force dimension 0.08 (pÃ?â?¹Ã?â??0.05). Physical Attractiveness scale is the predominant dimension in adulthood. Amateur runners of adult age are able to improve their physical self-concept after a programmed training plan.
