The quality of the behavior of the group activities fitness instructor (GAFI) is a relevant and important main subject in current investigation in fitness area. With this research we aim to: (a) identify and define the indicators associated to the quality of GAFI, according to the opinion of different stakeholders [participants (n = 50), instructors (n = 20), trainers (n = 10), technical directors (n = 10) and managers/owners (n = 10)]; and (b) characterize the opinion of all the stakeholders about the quality indicators of the GAFI. After the application and codification of 100 interviews (semi-structured) with content analysis, a model was presented identifying 4 dimensions (Professional Quality, Relational Quality, Technical Quality, Pedagogical Quality) and 25 categories, of the quality indicators of GAFI. In each dimension, the most referenced indicators were: (a) motivation (85%) - Pedagogical Quality; (b) sympathy (77%) - Relational Quality; (c) image (64%) - Professional Quality; and (d) planning (61%) - Technical Quality. The obtained results will allow to the GAFI understand the adequate behavior he must have in professional intervention, considering the quality indicators referred by the consulted stakeholders.
