The objectives of this study are: 1) Describe the levels of resilience in athletics coaches of high performance; 2) determine the levels of reliability of data obtained with the selected sample; 3) compare the results with previous studies. An adaptation of the interview for Ruiz´s (2004) coaches and an adaptation to Castilian scale Wagnield Resilience and Young (1993) was administered. 30 (28 men and 2 women) Spanish coaches of high performance athletics were evaluated. The results show high levels of resilience (M = 141, SD = 11.54). Comparison with previous studies show significant differences in the total score of resilience and Factor I Personal Competence. Reliability levels found are similar to previous studies. We conclude that the specific work requirements of athletic trainer could influence the presence of high levels of resilience.
