Background and Objectives: Diabetes mellitus type 2 (T2DM) causes significant morbidity and mortality. Obesity, sedentary lifestyle, and population aging are all key contributors to the global rise in T2DM incidence. Furthermore, diabetic complications demand a disproportionate amount of healthcare resources. The goal of diabetes therapy is to maintain quality of care through illness prevention. Maintaining patient satisfaction is another critical part of treating patients with chronic illnesses.
